Originally founded as Deluxe Toy Creations by Henry Orenstein 1951, the company is known for several ranges of toys including Johnny Lightning, Dawn Doll, Sesame Street, Johnny Seven and Suzy Homemaker. The company entered bankruptcy in 1973, following the loss of the Sesame Street contract.
Topper Toys Johnny Lighning models were made in Colombia by Chico Toys as the Andin Box range, mid 1970s.
