Quiralu

(Luxeuil les Bains France)

Quiralu was formed by Émile Quirin in 1932, initially producing household items, switching to cast aluminium toys during the late 1930s, and die casting after WWII. The company name is a combination of Quirin and aluminium. Today, Quiralu is known for cast figures, particularly military figures, together with both military and civilian road vehicles. Although an attempt was made to introduce plastic toys, Quiralu ceased trading in 1961. Reproductions have been made since the 1990s, by Norev, Dan Toys and others.
