Chico Toys of Colombia is known to have produced a range of diecast and plastic model vehicles in scales from 1/43 to 1/50, using tooling purchased from Vilmer of Denmark. During the 1970s, following the collapse of Deluxe Reading Topper Toys, Chico Toys manufactured models from the 1/64th scale Johnny Lightning series as the Andin Box range, with some plastic parts made by BASA of Peru.
